Global Youth Ambassadors Team (GYAT) is a youth-led, volunteer-driven platform established in Egypt in 2014, bringing together young people who are committed to creating positive social, humanitarian, environmental, and community impact.
GYAT works to empower youth as active change-makers by providing opportunities for capacity building, leadership development, volunteering, innovation, and community engagement. The team connects young people from different backgrounds and governorates and supports them to design and implement practical initiatives addressing local and global challenges.
Our work focuses on youth empowerment, humanitarian action, health awareness, climate and environmental action, gender equality, education, sustainable development, and community resilience. GYAT uses innovative and participatory approaches, including gamification, experiential learning, art-based activities, volunteering, and peer-to-peer education to transform awareness into meaningful action.
Through its programs and partnerships, GYAT has engaged and trained hundreds of young volunteers and reached thousands of children, youth, and community members through awareness campaigns, educational activities, capacity-building programs, environmental initiatives, and humanitarian interventions.
GYAT believes that young people are not only beneficiaries of development—they are partners, leaders, and drivers of change. The organization therefore creates spaces where youth can develop their skills, collaborate across communities, contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and turn innovative ideas into sustainable solutions.
GYAT also works to build partnerships with civil society organizations, humanitarian institutions, academic institutions, international organizations, and other stakeholders to expand the impact of youth-led initiatives and promote inclusive, sustainable, and community-driven development.
